Living

I haven't posted anything for a while... so I decided I would. My blog entries are always insanely long. They don't seem like it at the time, but reading my blog as opposed to other peoples' always clues me in on that one. Ah well. So is life.

This past weekend was a good one... sorta. I spent a majority of it playing in the Blue and Gold Brass pep band for the Akron Mens Basketball team, which was doing an awesome job, and then got screwed over at the last second by an admittedly amazing (but lucky) shot from the Miami team. Then we had to stick around forever waiting for officials to decide whether it was good or not, and what was the fair decision they finally made? To give us .6 seconds to make a basket from a pass-in on the opposite side of the court. Yeah, not gonna happen. They gave it a try, anyway, but it was pretty much impossible. I did, however, have a great time on the bus rides there and back... played a little DS vs. Todd (Who kicked my can) and gave Reese Eggs to the needy.

Meanwhile, school still continues to haunt and confuse me... luckily, spring break is just around the corner... I need a break from all of this stress, and I'd like to say that I'll get stuff figured out, but I don't really see that happening. I didn't get things set over Winter break, so what's one week going to do? Probably nothing... and that's not being pessimistic, just realistic.

Also, as pathetic as it is, I'm just gonna flat out say it: I'm lonely. I miss having a girlfriend like crazy, and all the flirting I've been doing lately is just driving me insane. I have a few... interests, but nothing that I really believe will pan out, which is cool. It's not like I haven't been single for a while now. It would just be... nice, to have someone I could care about and just hang out with and cuddle with and... etc. I'm sure it's just my imagination, but EVERYONE keeps talking about all their relationships here, and I'm just a bit jealous. Just a bit. My point? If you know a chick that isn't too picky and is awesome... send her my way. I've learned a LOT of the dos and don'ts of relationships, and I'm ready to give my next one a really good try. Hopefully.

Well... that's about it, I suppose. Can't make this one too long!
