Nearly the End of School... and I'm Ready For It.

Well, it's almost that time of year... the end of school, the beginning of summer vacation... and by God, am I ready. This year has been pretty strenuous, I'm just not used to having this many things to do that I don't really want to on my plate all at once. Then again, that isn't really being fair. A lot of the things I've been busy with haven't been all that terrible... I mean, maybe they're only terrible because I have to do them. Oh well. I guess I'll never know. Only about seven days left, may as well make the best of them.

Right now, I'm sort of procrastinating. There are a few other things I have to finish relatively soon, such as, but not limited to, my bottle rockets for physics, studying government anything, a couple more scholarships, and piano. Regardless, tonight, I get a night off to kick it and relax, because we have a National Honor Society induction ceremony which should be pretty fun, considering all my friends'll be there. I am inducting none other than Laura Wolgamott, which is pretty cool, considering she's one of my better female associates. Speaking of which, I gotta go get ready! G'day!

Back From Hiatus

Well, as I'm sure you all noticed, because you all frequent my fine establishment of a blog here, I've been neglecting my duties as editor-in-chief. And I'm sorry. Bitterly sorry. But I know that nothing I can do can change the fact that on this very computer, you were deprived of stories of such wonder, surely only the magnificence of a blog could be used to convey their essence in a fair manner.

So, now that I've got that out of my system... to the actual article I'm going to write... let's see... where did I leave off? Just a second, I'll go check.

Okay, I checked. And it was decided. If you all hate my blog, it's well deserved, because my last post was terribly entitled, "Spring Break - Memories in the Making?". Even looking past the title, the actual content of the entry is a bit... shall we say... lacking? Or even absent. So, I re-vamped the whole thing (Which to my skill level simply includes picking a new background, maybe an exciting new font... nothing too racy) And viola! Exciting! New! Action-packed! Or at least 50 percent more socially acceptable!

So, now... you're all (not) wondering... what HAVE you been doing, Jimmy?

Well...
  • I got a crazy allergy attack, which made me spew, and I missed a few days of school. Which is pretty cool, except for the feeling crummy part. Oh, and the catching up in Physics and Gov't, but that's a whole nother story. Anyway, I went to the doctor and got some stuff for my nose that I haven't used much, and this nifty inhaler that I'm supposed to use when my allergies go nuts. I've used it a few times, but I never notice much difference in those sorts of things... oh well.
  • Music Man went really well. Surprisingly well. Amazingly well. Basically, we put on a good show by the seat of our pants. I know shows always feel like that, but this one had to have been the most alarming. I myself can't talk, 'cause I did put a lot of it off 'till the last minute, and still had some trouble with some lyrics, but heck, that happens when you've got every other line in the play. Anyway, it was a smash hit, the second weekend was even more packed than the first, and everyone really enjoyed it. Even Mr. Meek showed up.
  • I was a huge jerk and broke up with my girlfriend of approxamately 1 1/2 months.
  • I still accidentally say yellow when I mean white and vice-versa sometimes.
  • I discovered that one of my co-actors from Anything Goes was arrested for soliciting sex to a nine-year-old. Never would have guessed.
  • Government continues to be the raspberry seed in my wisdom tooth, as I crash and burn on a test and a quiz over Ohio landmarks, counties, and townships. But may I point out that we were only given one day to take our reveiw sheets home and learn a bunch of stuff. I question Mrs. Boone on this, and her response? "Well, Jim, I suppose that whoever madates this test assumes that you already have a knowledge of some of this information". Psh, yeah right.
  • Physics is going okay... even though Mr. Weber is being a total skitzo, freaking out on us about horsing around and being absent one minute, encouraging us to mess around the next. Not to mention the lack of teaching and informing of crucial information, such as due dates. But in a related story, the egg drop project that is what it is (was) today (that one day a while ago) is completely due to my dad. He helped me a lot, which I find funny, because I didn't even ask. I guess that's what dads do. Thanks, dad.
  • My sister, Loren, secured a few jobs for over the summer, one which seems semi-professional, and broke her finger playing some sort of football or something. College continues to intimidate me.
  • I played a bunch of video games. It's what I do.
  • I realized that I have a physics thing due tomorrow and I'm not close to being done yet, so this'll have to do!
