Ergative?

Okay, so I had an orthodontist appointment today. Well, usually when I'm scheduled to have an appointment of such, so is my youngest sibling, Erin. So, thinking very little of it, I went to go pick her up. As I parked my car and walked up to the office on the second floor, I thought how strange the school was, thinking that I had once gone there many-a-year ago, and thinking about how young Erin is. Finally, I reached the office and requested to escort Erin away, only to realize at the worst possible time that I had made a huge mistake.

You see, Erin has been going to school for say... 7 years now, not counting kindergarten, which would put her in- You guessed it- the Perrysville Jr. High, which is only a few miles away from where I was expecting to take her from. Go figure. Needless to say, I'm admitting my own lack of... maybe awareness would be the best term. You see, I know that I know very well that Erin goes to the Jr. High, but it seems that only yesterday I was picking her up from the Budd School to take her last time. It was actually a few months, mind you, but it still feels like summer outside in the afternoon (which is terrible and must change ASAP).

So that was my "duh" moment of the day. It didn't really matter, we had plenty of time, and it really doesn't take as long to get to Perrysville as you'd think. But enough about that, it was just the... "highlight" of the day. What have I been doing lately, you ask? You've kept us waiting in suspense for so long with all of this absence of updation! Tell us, tell us now! Well...

I've been working on our senior show. That's the biggest deal at the moment, namely because I'm writing the music. Or rather transcribing it from video games. :-D Yes, that's right, video games. My dream is finally coming true, and people will come to appriciate the wonderful melodies and addictive beats that are combined to create a wonderful kind of music. (On a subnote to that, I don't know why I like it so much. It doesn't really make sense, because it's not really one certain genre of music, it's a bunch. I don't know why it appeals to me, maybe some sort of psychological connection to my childhood love of video games... specificially Nintendo. The world may never know.)

I tried out for some dinner theatre thing the drama club's doing... I didn't really like any specific parts, though, so I'll just take what I get. And I've been trying out a brand-new trombone with an F attatchment, which is really cool, even though I don't feel proficient enough to play it. And I've been doing chemistry work, but that class is really easy. And ummmmm... that's the most important stuff.

And, um... that's about it. But hey, I updated it! Huzzah!

It's sort of sad that I don't have a life and therefore spend my time reading about other peoples' lives. Oh well, awesome colors! Rainbows Rock! :)
