Okay, so it's been a little over two weeks since I posted anything. But I have my reasons... sort of. None that I can really list, so they must not be THAT important of reasons, but reasons they still are...

I'll try and recall what all I've gotten accomplished that is remotely notable... Lessee... Well, the band went to a College football game... the Akron Zips, to be specific. We participated in their half time show, which just happened to consist of a trombone theme. We're talking serious featuring here. They had this trombone quartet from the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra playing Ride of the Valkyries (or however it's spelled), and all of the trombones from a bunch of highschools stood in front for these other two songs. One was a medley of trombone-featuring songs, and the other was a patriotic medley. They were both pretty cool.

Rehersal was odd. First, the trombones practiced specially and separately from the rest of the band in these strange little stands for the box car derby track nearby. I'll tell you what, listening to all of those people miss all of those key signature flats sure makes me feel a lot more talented at playing...
