Mandatory Update Law In Action!
Well, it's been a little under two weeks since I updated this thing. For those of you who know me through this thing (probably like, 0.3 people, or something), you haven't missed a whole lot. I didn't go to the state game this weekend, which was okay, 'cause they lost. I'm happy for 'em just making it that far, anyway.
Schoolwise, everything's going okay... big physics test coming up this next week, the week before spring break, and I don't really know how to do any of it. Totally my fault, I know, but it's so easy to get distracted in that class, when Mr. Weber doesn't really consistantly stay on the topic, and David is making all of my diagrams of masses into drawings of spinning saw blades and star-nosed moles. Government is... well, Government. We're still chugging along, nothing of interest to report. Except there's a huge Cabinet test this week at some point, and I don't know how I'm gonna memorize a bunch of agency names AND cabinet member names. (I sort of... skipped out on studying Government this weekend... hee hee... oopsie...)
Band and Choir have been mess-around time. We had contest last weekend, which I really should have written something about, but it was rather uneventful. The Band got a decent II, the choir, a III. Basically, we went class A in choir, and the judges all hated us. Mr. Zimmerly was pretty broken up about it all, but I say screw it and move on. I think maybe we start Cafe Redbird next. As for band, well, I got a week off 'cause they just practiced pep band stuff for the state game, and there was no way I was going, so I just did other stuff.
Meanwile, to give a subject-to-subject transition, the Freshmen and Sophomores have been OGT testing this week, so we had three days of pure two-hour-late-start bliss. Before this week, I had no idea such a heaven existed. I got up five 'till 10 instead of five 'till 8 Monday and Tuesday. Then, on Wednesday, I planned a special senior breakfast, and a bunch of people came over, and we watched Futurama, and it was good.
Well... I should go do something productive... I've been "writing" this entry for an hour.... so I'll update more later.
